    Opportunity Quilt Raffle

In our charity outreach efforts, we try to reach as many different groups as we are able. While quilt making and donating is one of our primary focuses, not every organization can benefit from the donation of a quilt. Each year, the guild raffles off the QuiltCon Community Outreach Challenge quilt to raise funds for a local organization and to support the guild’s charity efforts. For 2025, the guild has chosen to give 100% of the proceeds to Feeding San Diego. This opportunity quilt giveaway is open to anyone, so please feel free to share this with friends, family, coworkers,…

    VP of Geographic Outreach

We voted to amend our bylaws and include a VP of Geographic Outreach at our meeting yesterday. The person filling this position would be in charge of setting up social activities in regions of the county that are not where the guild meets for regular meetings (currently San Marcos). Cohni Corazon has expressed interest in being nominated to fill the position at our elections in October. Until then, the executive board has appointed her to the position.
