Sew Along

Kinship 100 Blocks Sew Along

We will be having a guild sew-along with the Kinship: 100 Blocks Sampler. For those of you familiar with the #100Days100Blocks project that has been hosted by Angie Wilson of Gnome Angel on Instagram with the Tula Pink book the past couple of years, the Kinship pattern is this year’s project. You are able can sew at your own pace or join in with the sew along that is taking place. There are 50 – 8″ blocks and 50- 4″ x 8″ blocks in this pattern. It’s a great skill builder pattern.

As we will be hosting this as a guild sew along, you are free to sew the blocks at your own pace or to follow along with the block a day time frame.

We are currently taking orders for hard copies of the books, which provide machine (or hand) piecing instructions. The books are $25 and come with a 2.5″ HST template (and free shipping!). The book sales will also be part of a guild charity fundraiser, as the books will cost us $15/book and the remainder will go to help fund our charity efforts.

We will be accepting orders until Monday, June 10th. This way, we can submit our book order and then have the books by the end of the month sew-in for those that want to participate in the sew along. Arrangements can also be made by emailing the board if you would like to receive your book before the July meeting.

If you are interested, please fill out this form with your name and email. Payment information will be provided after your form has been submitted.

There are also foundation paper pieced and English paper piecing options for this pattern. For more information about the #100Days100Blocks sew along or to find out how to purchase these pattern versions, please check out Angie’s website at https://www.gnomeangel.com/100days100blocks2019-event-information/
