    Hi everyone! Hope this update finds you all healthy and sewing if you’re able to do so! Things are constantly changing, as I’m sure you’re well aware, so here’s a few updates from the guild: The April meeting is cancelled. We really wish we could meet up, but as Social Distancing/Shelter in Place is in effect, we can’t make that happen. Quilt in a Day has also cancelled all of their classroom events through April 17th (as of 3/29/2020), so that also effects the decisions we’re making.     Sew In and Workshop Updates

    For the safety and health of everyone during this time and to limit the spread of the Coronavirus, we have decided to cancel the sew-ins scheduled for the rest of this month. We have also decided to postpone the Scaling Your Sampler workshop with Colleen Molen scheduled for next Saturday to a later date to be determined. We will let you know once a new date has been finalized. At this moment, we are deciding whether or not to have our April meeting on Sunday, April 5th.     Happy New Year! Our first guild meeting of the year will be on Sunday, January 12th at 11:00 am at Quilt in a Day in San Marcos.     San Diego Modern Quilt Guild November 11, 2018  Minutes The meeting was called to order at 11 am by President ,  Stephanie Grainger.   Guests were introduced. 2019  Board positions were announced. Voting was completed at the October meeting.     Is everyone getting excited for our guild meeting on Sunday, September 9? We are going to be joined at the end of our meeting by Erin Dollar, who is the designer of Cotton & Flax.
