For our second trimester group charity project, we will be creating quilts for Just In Time. For our group quilt, we will be making Rainbow Wonky Log Cabin blocks. For these blocks, you will be using three colors and sewing each round in rainbow order – (Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet). You can start anywhere, but the colors must progress in order. Prints are great for this and solids would also work well – feel free to mix and match or stick to one kind. Please make sure that each fabric “reads” as the color you’re intending to use (if you squint, do you see primarily that color?). Multi color prints would not be a great option for this block. Blocks are due back by the August 9, 2026 meeting.
