The Annual Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show is the largest outdoor quilt show in the world and takes place in Sisters, Oregon on July 14th. There will be more than 1400 quilts on display!

We will have Erin Dollar, the designer of Cotton and Flax come visit the guild on Sunday, September 9th right after our meeting. Her first line is Arryo and her second line is set to debut in August! She will give a brief lecture, followed by some Q&A. She will also have her lovely fabric with her! The cost is…. FREE!

Hello everyone!
Our guild has grown a fair bit over the past few years. To reflect our growing group and to better serve the other geographical areas of San Diego, we have suggested the addition of a new board member.
At today’s guild meeting, we moved to add an official board position for outreach to Central, South and East San Diego.
This position would be open to anyone in the guild. The person would attend board meetings and guild meetings, like any other board officer. Their focus would be to extend programming to the other regions of San Diego.
Next month, at our meeting on July 8th at 11am at Quilt in a Day, we will vote on the inclusion of this position on the board. This would also be an excellent time to come up with a list of nominees. We would also like to hear your input on the sorts of activities and programming this person could potentially coordinate.
