Final month for Just In Time donations. Just in Time serves 18-26 year old transition age youth who are aging out of the foster care system by providing them with a variety of supports and programs so that they can become self-sufficient and thrive. We donate to their My First Home project. For this drive, we will be accepting throw and bed sized quilts (minimum 55” x 60”).
If you still have blocks for our group quilt that you need to return, please contact Kristyn to make arrangements for those to be turned in.
Meals on Wheels – We are collecting placemats and potholders. Donations will be made in November/December at the end of the year. Our donation will be split between the North and Metro Service Centers, as this is where we as a membership are primarily located.
Size: Placemats should be about 12″ x 18″ (Sizes on these can vary, so they can also be 13″ or 14″ x 19″ as well). Potholders should be around 9” square.
Next trimester’s focus is Moores Cancer Center. Look for an information email from Kristyn at the beginning of September.
Note – Please do not bring charity quilts for donation next month (September). We will resume in October.
