August Newsletter and New Sew Ins

The August newsletter is now available. We have a lot of exciting upcoming events happening in the next couple of months, so check it out for the latest guild news!

New Sew In Dates!

We have a last minute addition for an East County Sew In, which will be taking place tomorrow Saturday, August 3rd from 1:00pm – 5:00pm at the Lemon Grove Library. We are working to make this a regular space to sew at, so if you’re able to make it tomorrow, please join us!

Our other new sew in will take place at the Mission Bay Sewing Machines Plus in the evening. We have this space on Tuesday, August 13th from 3:00pm – 7:30pm – future sew in dates can be found in the newsletter. This sew in will cost $5 per person to attend.

2020 Birthday Club

We will be running our guild birthday club again this upcoming year. Birthday club sign ups will be taking place at the August and September guild meetings. At the October meeting, you will receive your group members information and their FQ requests. You will bring back your group’s FQs in a designated bag at the November meeting. Then, on your birthday month in 2020, you’ll receive a bag of FQs from each member of your group!

If you wish to join in on the birthday club, you will just need to fill out the short form at a guild meeting. As part of the birthday club, you will be in a group of 12 individuals and on your birthday month, you will receive a bag of fat quarters based on your indicated likes from the sign up form.

*It’s fun and easy – shop your stash or purchase to meet your members wishes, and of course keep it modern.*
